Ligue 1 Report: Paris Saint-Germain v AS Monaco 15 April 2018

Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar, has said he still needs a month to recover from a foot operation.

Di Maria's goal for 3-0 was PSG's 100th in Ligue 1 Conforama this season, making Unai Emery's men the first team across Europe's five major leagues - per UEFA's coefficient ranking - to reach a century of league goals.

PSG are on course to win Ligue 1 but are unsure if the Brazil global will play again this season after breaking a bone in his foot.

The Spaniard arrived at the start of last season on a two-year deal having won three Europa League titles in a row with Sevilla, his expertise in continental knockout ties said to be a major reason for his hiring as PSG sought to upset the established order in the Champions League.

Although luck was on Monaco's side early on when Cavani missed a glorious opportunity, PSG were playing with a ruthlessness that was not going to see them slip up. Cavani then added his name to the scoresheet, meeting Yuri Berchiche's cross to head home his league-leading 25th goal of the campaign.

Javier Pastore supplied Lo Celso to head in PSG's fourth on 28 minutes and Monaco suffered further misfortune when France worldwide Djibril Sidibe was stretchered off with a leg injury, a worrying sign for both club and country ahead of the World Cup.

Lopes tapped in Almamy Toure's right-wing cross at the back post to pull one back for Monaco late in the first half. Edinson Cavani fired narrowly wide at the other end (10'), and PSG were celebrating the opener soon after, Giovani Lo Celso prodding home from close range after Dani Alves' cutback (14').

It never looked like being the start of an incredible comeback, even if PSG evidently eased off slightly after the restart.

But PSG continued to attack at will and Pastore's assist for Di Maria allowed the winger to grab his second of the game on 59 minutes.
