Cohen Arranged Payment for RNC Bigwig After Affair

The Broidy revelations underscore ties between Cohen and Keith Davidson, a Los Angeles attorney who represented the woman with whom Broidy had the affair.

Broidy, a former member of the commission that oversees the Los Angeles city Fire and Police Pension Fund, said it was "unfortunate" that his affair - which occurred "between two consenting adults" has become the "subject of a national discussion just because of Michael Cohen's involvement".

The Wall Street Journal first reported the news of Broidy's settlement.

Attorneys for Cohen and Republican National Committee spokespersons, as well as lawyers for the former Playboy model, have not yet responded to CNBC's requests for comment.

'Walmart Boy' Mason Ramsey Has Yodeled His Way to 'Ellen'
DeGeneres warned him that such a lofty dream would take years to accomplish, but apparently not in the age of the internet. Holding a guitar bigger than his body, Ramsey flawlessly sang " Lovesick Blues " to the delighted audience.

In court filings Friday, federal prosecutors said Cohen is the target of a "months-long" criminal probe into his personal finances and business dealings. In return for $1.6 million paid over two years, she agreed not to talk about her alleged relationship with the RNC fundraiser, and agreed not to pursue what she described as legal claims, sources said.

Citing people familiar with the matter, the Journal reported that the 2017 deal prohibits the woman from discussing the relationship with Broidy, who works as a deputy finance chairman of the GOP's committee. Earlier this week, his hotel room and offices were raided by Federal Bureau of Investigation agents.

Broidy was a vice-chairman for the Trump campaign's joint fund with the Republican Party during the 2016 presidential campaign, as well as the vice-chairman of the Trump Victory Fund. Until Friday, they both served as deputy national finance chairmen there.

So far this cycle, Broidy and his wife have contributed $614,000 to Republican campaign committees and the RNC, records show. Cohen has claimed Trump, who denies the affair, was not aware of the payment and did not reimburse him.

It also marked the Jets second playoff victory when, to the delight of a raucous sellout crowd, they dumped the Wild 4-1. One small step down, many more to go before the Jets get what they really want. "He's fit in seamlessly with our group".

Nader has been cooperating with special counsel Robert S. Mueller III's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 campaign. In his statement, Broidy said he retained Cohen after Trump's lawyer "informed me about his prior relationship with Mr. Davidson".

"She alone decided that she did not want to continue with the pregnancy and I offered to help her financially during this hard period". "She alone decided that she did not want to continue with the pregnancy and I offered to help her financially during this hard period", he said. "We have not spoken since that time".

The deal bears remarkable similarities to an agreement reached between Donald Trump and porn star Stormy Daniels that was signed by Cohen and Daniels, but not Trump. Daniels has sued Cohen and Trump, claiming the contract is invalid. McDougal said her lawyer at the time secretly negotiated with Cohen on a deal with American Media Inc, publisher of the National Enquirer, which paid her $150,000 in 2016 to keep quiet.

Davidson and Cohen were also in communication about a third agreement involving former Playboy centerfold Karen McDougal. Another top Trump fundraiser, casino owner Steve Wynn, stepped down as RNC finance chairman in January after news that he had been accused of sexual harassing employees at his properties over decades. "I'm gonna take a look", she said.

Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulates Ilham Aliyev on his re-election as president of Azerbaijan
In a constitutional referendum held on September 26, 2016, the tenure for president was increased from five to seven years. Aliyev, 56, and his supporters deny allegations of voter fraud and say dissent has not been suppressed.

The contract reads that whether or not she is "indeed pregnant as she alleges" she has all her legal rights to seek "the paternity of the alleged child", and any support, financial help, or otherwise. AMI has asked the judge to dismiss the case, arguing that the deal is protected under the First Amendment.
