Luck expects to be better QB following long recovery

Luck expects to be better QB following long recovery

Although Luck has been throwing smaller footballs during his rehabilitation, the Colts quarterback revealed on Monday that he still hasn't thrown an actual NFL football.

That's not a particularly surprising statement considering he hasn't been healthy enough to play in a football game since the end of the 2016 season. "I'm trusting myself in this process, and when the time is right, I'll pick it up". "There is still a bit of a journey left and I'm not going to skip any steps".

"Luck reflected on 2017 for a moment during the press conference and said, "(I) felt like I was becoming a distraction" last season.

Ballard said Luck has been working on a "bottom-up" approach to his rehab work that will allow him to better use his lower body to alleviate potential stress on his throwing shoulder.

"I don't want to repeat those missteps. But I am", he said. Two months later, the Colts owner said that Luck would likely only miss one or two games.

That's one of many things he believes he's corrected during a trip to The Netherlands for rehab last winter and a more recent session in California with a pair of throwing gurus - Tom House and Adam Dedeaux - at the start of this year. "So I've learned from that, and that's why I feel so strongly about the process and the plan that I'm on now".

Super-hot chili pepper sends man to the hospital with "thunderclap" headaches
Over the next few days he suffered thunderclap headaches , with excruciating pain that eventually sent him to the emergency room. A computed tomography (CT) scan, however, revealed that several of the arteries leading to his brain were constricted.

He's felt it himself, watching IN native Gordon Hayward's ongoing recovery from a broken leg suffered IN the season opener for the Boston Celtics.

Luck was asked about some changes he may have made during his rehab, and he responded by saying he is not changing his throwing motion, but there are "things in my throwing motion that i can do better". He knows he's coming back at his best.

But the biggest difference between this year's offseason workouts and last year's is that Luck sounds more confident about himself and his shoulder. "I want to go into training camp without a governor on in my mind on anything and feeling really, really good".
