Customers on Airtel can enjoy a cashback of Rs 2000 on Nokia 6 and own the smartphone at an effective price of Rs. 14, 999 Airtel customers can also enjoy an extended free subscription to the Airtel TV app till December 31, 2018. At the launch event in New Delhi, HMD Global also announced the launch of the Nokia Mobile Shop - the company's online store for India. Airtel is offering cashback of Rs. 2,000 on purchase of the phone under the Mera Pehla Smartphone initiative.

HMD Global had unveiled the Nokia 8 Sirocco, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6 at the Mobile World Congress 2018 (MWC) in Barcelona in February. It can be bought in color choices such as Black/Copper and White/Copper.

The Nokia 6 (2018) will be available from 6th March whereas the Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco can be pre-booked from 20th March. ICICI bank will offer a 5 percent cashback till May 31, 2018.

Nokia 8 and 7 Plus feature some interesting design and hardware specs. It will hit the shelves on April 30.

For its part, the front camera will equip a 21 MP sensor with ZEISS optics, which can take high quality photos in low light conditions and may come with support for facial recognition. It runs the Android 8.0 Oreo and consists of a 3,800 mAh-battery. The Snapdragon 630 chipset + 4GB RAM in the Nokia 6 (2018) offers almost 60 per cent better performance than the Snapdragon 430 found in the original Nokia 6. It is fuelled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and 3,800 mAh battery. The phone features a dual rear camera setup (12MP with f/1.7 aperture + 13MP with f/2.6 aperture) along with dual tone flash. The sensors are vertically stacked at the back the phone, right above the fingerprint sensor.
