Heartwarming Moment Kansas Family is Reunited With Dog Accidentally Flown to Japan

A Kansas family says United Airlines mistakenly flew their German shepherd to Japan in another black eye for the air carrier.

Kara Swindle had travelled to Kansas City with American Airlines thinking her dog was accompanying her there in the cargo hold, KCTV reports.

Swindle said Wednesday evening, United has told her they plan to send Irgo on a flight that will land Thursday night in Wichita.

ASU happy to be in NCAA Tournament, ready for play-in game
Oshae Brissett had 23 points and 12 rebounds for the Orange, who only played until the second round in the ACC tournament. But in a sporting spectacle littered with the unexpected, Syracuse's "same old" was the magic it needed.

But that wasn't the case.

But when they went to collect him once their flight had landed, they were given a Great Dane instead. "We apologize for this mistake and are following up with the vendor kennel where they were kept overnight to understand what happened", the airline added, the Huffington Post reported.

United's treatment of animals was questioned earlier this week when a French bulldog puppy in a carrying case died after a flight attendant insisted that the dog's owner put the animal in the overhead storage for the 3½hour flight from Houston to NY.

Will Zuma be charged? NPA boss to announce decision on corruption case
A year ago a court ruled that the decision to throw out the charges had been irrational and ordered prosecutors to reinstate. Zuma's alleged involvement in a 1999 weapons deal, had been dropped for procedural reasons in April 2009 shortly before Mr.

Swindle told KCTV she has no idea how the mix-up happened, but the airline told her the kennels looked similar. Around 24 hours after the tragic incident of a dog's death due to the pet carrier being stored in the bin overhead, another USA flight is under fire as it shipped a dog to Japan instead of Kansas. The airline said it was investigating the dog's death "to prevent this from ever happening again". Talking about their reunion, Kara Swindle told CNN affiliate KSNW, "He instantly jumped up and was crying". The mixup was the second controversy this week for United Airlines.

On Monday Catalina Robledo had been travelling with her children - 11-year-old Sophia and baby son of two months - and little dog, Kokito, to NY. "I can't imagine what he's thinking". During the 16-hour flight, Irgo had no food or water and had to go without medication for an ear infection that he is suffering from.

On Friday, Ms Swindle shared photos of her dog en route in a private chartered plane to the Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport in Kansas. "I'm hoping that from now on they take better care of animals. I've cried too much".

The flu continues to take lives in CT
The prior week there were 18 deaths, while there's been a steady decline in weekly deaths since 46 were recorded three weeks ago. Carteret Health Care restricted vistors under age 18 and limited the number of visitors per patient to two people.

In the incident Monday, a flight attendant mistakenly ordered a passenger to put her dog's container in the overhead bin because of a misunderstanding about a dog being in the bag.
