Bulldogs nail hire with Tom Crean — Georgia Basketball

Tom Crean has become the next head coach at the University of Georgia. At Indiana, Crean took four years to finally build a victor.

With two NCAA Tournament appearances during Mark Fox's middling nine-season tenure, the men's basketball job at Georgia doesn't appear to be great. Crean was announced as the next head coach of Georgia on Thursday night.

Nearly alongside the news of Fox's firing last Saturday, Mike DeCourcy of Sporting News reported Crean would be interested in the Georgia job. Crean went 166-135 at IN - including 138-69 over his final six seasons.
