Nicolas Cage Finally Gets to Play Superman, 20 Years After Failed Movie

Nicolas Cage will finally get to grace the screen as Superman!

Cage was originally meant to play the Man of Steel in a 1998, Tim Burton-directed movie called Superman Lives. The film was ultimately cancelled due to rising costs and concerns over the script. Lots of outlandish photos and concept art have emerged from the project, which either would have a total mess or one of the most unique superhero features ever made.

Teen Titans Go! to the Movies stars the voices of Scott Menville, Khary Payton, Hynden Walch, Greg Cipes, Tara Strong, Kristen Bell and Will Arnett. We haven't heard any clips yet of Cage as Superman, but we hope that happens soon.

VW Expects to Have 16 Production Sites for Electric Cars by 2022
He added that a third of the auto maker's nine new vehicles for 218, will be 100% electric powered. The first model with the I.D. nameplate will be the Neo hatchback that goes on sale in 2020.

USA Today snagged the exclusive late Monday announcing Cage's involvement in the animated film. The guy named his son Kal-El Coppola Cage for Superman's sake!

Say what you will of the cartoon series, Teen Titans Go!, which aired April 23, 2013 on Cartoon Network as part of the DC Nation block and is now airing its fourth season.

Longtime fans of the 54-year-old actor will know this isn't the first time Cage has been set to play Superman.

South Africa v Australia: Kagiso Rabada banned for rest of series
The 22-year-old was in stunning rhythm and sent Mitchell Marsh's stumps cartwheeling to begin proceedings on day 4. For Australia , Usman Khawaja's second innings knock of 75 has helped him gain five places to reach 16th position.

Though DC's recent live-action films have all been maligned by critics (excepting only Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman), the company's offerings for children have possessed more of the earnest, positive messaging memorable from most Superman comics. So, yes, Cage will play Superman, but it will only be his voice and will likely be just a cameo.

Speaking on the casting process, executive producer Sam Register said: 'Every superhero in the DC Universe has an impact on the fans, so we felt a great responsibility to find a voice for each character that would not only suit the role, but the playful tone of the Titans, and we're thrilled with our cameo cast'. With a few madcap ideas and a song in their heart, Teen Titans head to Tinsel Town, certain to pull off their dream.

Some analysts say Netanyahu favors early elections as a diversion to potential indictment on alleged corruption charges. Three of his former associates have signed state witness deals with police.
