Butler Agrees to deal with Titans

Interestingly, Robinson wasn't interested in pushing to get Butler to New England as a rookie free agent out of college; Butler got a contract offer from the Patriots only after a spring tryout.

Of course Patricia would consider bringing Butler on board after having worked with him four years.

In the wake of an inexplicable Super Bowl LII disappearance, speculation mounted that Butler might have to settle for a one-year, prove-it deal on the open market.

'Vice President Pence is right:' Joy Behar publicly apologizes for mocking Christianity
During an episode of Big Brother , Omarosa called Pence "extreme" and added that he "thinks Jesus tells him to say things". Joy Behar apologized for saying Mike Pence talking to Jesus sounded like "mental illness".

He has eight interceptions and four forced fumbles in 59 career regular-season games (48 starts) since making the Patriots as an undrafted free agent from West Alabama in 2014. Three years later, he saw exactly one snap as his team was picked apart by Nick Foles in a 41-33 Super Bowl 52 defeat.

Butler's story with the Patriots took a turn for the worse last offseason. Tennessee has approximately $59 million in salary cap space after releasing running back DeMarco Murray and three other players last week.

Butler's addition gives the Titans the ability to move Ryan to the No. 2 corner position and shift Adoree' Jackson into the slot which was an area of need for Tennessee heading into the offseason.

Along the way, we learned that the Big Ten Tournament champion Michigan Wolverines were pegged as a 3-seed in the West Region. They go in a back room and they decide. "And they have a sophomore who is as explosive a scorer as anybody in the nation".

Butler will be playing for former Patriots linebacker Mike Vrabel, a first-year head coach in Tennessee. The Boston Herald's Jeff Howe had reported the Patriots told Butler (before the start of the 2016 season) that they did not plan on offering any cornerback $10 million-plus per year.

Immediately after the game, Butler tearfully told ESPN Patriots reporter Mike Reiss that the Patriots "gave up" on him, and nearly as quickly, rumors - all false - began to crop up that Butler's benching was a punishment.

Still, the Patriots will likely try to find added depth at cornerback.
