Miami Dolphins Will Release DT Ndamukong Suh

The Miami Dolphins' purge apparently will continue Monday.

Moreover, Darlington reports that the impending release of Suh is the next step in coach Adam Gase's attempt to rebuild the culture in his locker room.

Suh posted a video on social media Sunday in which he said, "There will be some exciting things going on".

The Dolphins plan to release Suh as early as Monday, according to ESPN.

RWE to acquire Eon's renewables business
Chief executive Peter Terium resigned late previous year in the wake of a profit warning leaving Uwe Tigges as interim CEO. Eon would then focus on energy networks and retail, with RWE more generation focused.

Six months later, the Dolphins made the inevitable official, cutting the veteran linebacker whose short time with Miami will be remembered only for his weird behavior. If Suh is designated as a post-June 1 cut/trade the Dolphins will save $17 million in cap space and eat roughly $9 million. However, he's still a highly-disruptive, run-stuffing interior lineman and most recently earned All-Pro accolades in 2016.

Even so, Miami will be faced with dead cap hits of $9.1 million each of the next two years, per

To put those numbers in perspective, over the last three seasons, Joe Flacco had the highest salary cap figure in the National Football League at $24.6 million and no defensive player had a figure higher than $22.1 million. The 31-year-old played in all 16 games for Miami in 2017, recording 4.5 sacks and 29 tackles.

Suh spent the first five seasons of his career with the Detroit Lions and the last three with Miami.

It is ironic that Carragher resorted to such vile behavior when he himself used to look down upon footballers who spat at one another.

One advantage of signing a player like Suh who is being cut is that he would not factor into the compensatory pick formula.

Until the Dolphins actually release Suh, Los Angeles and other interested suitors won't be able to reach out just yet.

Unfortunately for the Philadelphia Eagles, who employ Jim Schwartz as their defensive coordinator, they don't have the snaps available, nor the funds, to sign Suh.
