Syracuse grad Sean McDonough leaving 'Monday Night Football' for ESPN college football

Play-by-play voice Sean McDonough has signed a new multi-year extension and will rejoin ESPN's college football team this fall.

ESPN released a statement Friday night, announcing McDonough's return to calling college games after two years in the MNF booth.

Victory in Milan eases pressure on Arsenal boss
When we don't do it, of course I am suffering like everyone else. "I am thankful that I have respect in the game". Wenger said it saddens him that football these days is all about winning, and not about the values of the game.

McDonough has been with ESPN since 2000, following an earlier stint from 1989-1995.

Manning has been a hot commodity in the National Football League broadcasting circuit, with ESPN looking to replace lead MNF analyst Jon Gruden, now the head coach of the Oakland Raiders. He only spent two seasons in the National Football League, but the college game will certainly welcome the talented play-by-play man back with open arms. Well, according to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, Joe Tessitore will be moving from college football to Monday Night Football. "I look forward to reuniting with ESPN's college football team where I have so many close friends in front of and behind the camera".

Google Allowing Third-Parties to Build Custom Commands for Assistant
While on its own the Google Assistant isn't there just yet, with some creative makers and developers, it's well on its way. Users can speak with Google Assistant devices by saying "OK, Google" followed by several new phrases starting today.

Tessitore has been with ESPN since 2002, calling boxing and then college football. He called college football games for ESPN/ABC from 2004-15.

Manning, who retired following the 2016-17 season after leading the Denver Broncos to a Super Bowl victory, is highly sought after to be an on-air personality by many networks, including FOX, who are still in the running for Manning's services.

Why your digital home assistant, Alexa, is laughing at you
These incidents have also prompted claims from users saying Alexa speaks up at other times, again, without prompting from them. First of all, Alexa is now able to understand and perform successive tasks without the user having to repeat the trigger word.

Here's hoping McDonough calls some SEC games in 2018.
