Area waitress who cut food for diner gets $16K scholarship

A photo posted to Facebook that shows a waitress helping an older customer at a Houston-area Waffle is going viral on social media.

A simple gesture of kindness by a Waffle House employee in Texas has gone viral.

The customer mentioned his hands didn't "work too good", so Williams chose to help him out by lending a helping hand. He was also on oxygen and. Sitting nearby, patron Laura Wolf snapped a photograph and posted it to Facebook.
