The Queen Makes an Appearance At London Fashion Week?!

For what was reportedly her first fashion show, Queen Elizabeth II sat front row next to fashion's own royalty, Anna Wintour (officially dubbed Dame Anna, as of June 2017).

She sat next to Anna Wintour, Vogue editor-in-chief.

The Queen's tweed dress and jacket was from Angela Kelly, and was embellished with tiny Swarovski crystals.

The official Twitter account for the Royal Family issued a statement about the queen being at the fashion show.

Hosmer, Padres reach preliminary eight-year deal
Two years later, Hosmer returned to Petco Park as the American League's starting first baseman in the 2016 All-Star Game. Wil Myers had previously told the Padres he would accept a position change if the club were to sign Hosmer.

Wintour and the Queen chatted before and at times during Quinn's show as models made their way up and down a floral inspired catwalk as loud music played.

She carried a black handbag and wore black gloves.

The British queen attended the event to honor Richard Quinn with an award that recognized British design excellence.

Known for his exaggerated and exuberant prints, Quinn graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2016 and has been racking up accolades from both the industry and also celebrity fans, including Lady Gaga.

Mueller unveils new indictment, charging lawyer with lying to investigators

"From the tweed of the Hebrides to Nottingham lace, and of course Carnaby Street, our fashion industry has been renowned for outstanding craftsmanship for many years, and continues to produce world-class textiles and cutting edge, practical designs", the 91-year-old monarch said.

The inaugural award is presented to British fashion designer Richard Quinn.

"I feel really overwhelmed, actually", Quinn told Elle UK of having the Queen at his show. He is an emerging talent who has been recognised for his exceptional prints.

The new award has come about as a result of a year of consultation between the Queen and her personal advisor, Angela Kelly. The BFC presided over all the organisation of the week-long shows and events.

Queen Elizabeth II may reign over the British throne but that doesn't mean she is opposed to seeking out the ideas of experts when it comes to fashion.
