Trump hits out at Oprah Winfrey for 'biased and slanted' questions

The idea of a possible 2020 presidential run for Winfrey was first floated after her moving speech at the Golden Globes in January where she praised the #MeToo movement.

Another day, another unwarranted rant on Twitter from President Donald Trump, and this time he has taken aim at Oprah Winfrey.

On the program, Oprah met with a group of voters in MI, some of whom had voted for Mr Trump in the 2016 USA election, to hear their thoughts on his first year in office.

DONALD Trump has challenged Oprah Winfrey to run for president in 2020 after slamming an interview she did with voters as "biased" and "incorrect".

"Hope Orpah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others". She asked if the country is better off economically and if respect for the country is being noticed around the world.

This was a nod to previous interviews, which, in gist, she repeatedly said that though she was humbled and honored for the intentions of the many, she lacked the interest in running for office.

A Twitter pal compared that tweet this morning to Obama's infamous bit at the 2011 White House Correspondents Dinner goofing on Trump for his Birther fixation.

Trump made multiple appearances on "The Oprah Winfrey Show", including in 1988 when he addressed the idea of running for president.

"I don't agree that it is okay to tweet the way that he does, getting in a war with North Korea, 'My button's bigger than your button, '" she said.

It can be remembered that Oprah gave a moving, no-holds-barred, and lauded acceptance speech during the Golden Globes.

'Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!' To POTUS, though, the fact that she runs through his dirtiest laundry in her choice of subjects - the outre tweets, the sexual assault allegations - is reason enough to dismiss the segment and attack.

Speaking to US InStyle magazine, Oprah said she "does not have the DNA" to be president. "I was looking for a way to express what was going on in this moment in terms of gender and class and race".

"There is no difference around that table than what you would hear at any place of work, in people's dining room tables, even college campuses across the country", Luntz noted. "I've never gone in to lose in my life".
