The device will run on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box and will have a 3000mAh battery reservoir to fire up the Galaxy S9. Facial expressions were one of Samsung's biggest issues with emoji, as some like the "grimacing face" looked nothing like the same emoji from the likes of Google, Apple, and others. The name of Samsung's version of the feature is now unknown. The phone will reportedly go on sale in mid-March.

Another feature that was mentioned in the report was the inclusion of a set of new dual stereo speakers. On the S8, the single bottom-firing speaker can easily be covered when playing games or watching videos in landscape orientation.
