Canadian Ice Skaters Address Their "X-Rated" Move

Canadian Ice Skaters Address Their

The members of the U.S. Olympic figure skating team took to social media Monday to celebrate their bronze-medal winning performances in the team competition and interact with Hollywood celebrities who were cheering them on.

Canada won its first gold medal of the Pyeongchang Olympics in the team figure skating competition.

Could you have scripted it any better?

That boosts Canada's medal count to seven (two gold, four silver, one bronze) - one behind Norway. "Then we need to start over". He fell on a triple axel, put a hand down on a second, but still pulled together a season-high score. They did so while toning down their routine. "I'm an Olympic gold medalist now, thanks to a team".

The 17-year-old from Torrance, California, dominated the Olympic women's halfpipe snowboarding final on Tuesday, soaring to a gold medal four years in the making. Barring complete catastrophe, that title will be theirs outright after the ice dance competition.

Steve Kerr disrespects Suns by letting players coach
Obviously, Kerr is still coaching in-game, but when a timeout is called it's all on the players to make the necessary adjustments. This time, both parties were not screaming at each other. "When you keep getting beat by 40, teams won't respect you".

On Monday, Team Canada got the goodbye they wanted. It was the only hint that he had felt the intense pressure to deliver for his team and his country on an Olympic stage. On the snow, meanwhile, Jamie Anderson-who won the first ever slopestyle snowboard gold medal in 2014 in Sochi-successfully defended her title despite howling winds that caused several riders to crash or bail on their attempts, as well as forced the cancelation of the planned third run of the final.

"I hadn't been that nervous in awhile", Chan said through a grin. "We recognize that. But what we do realize - and I think I learned this from Evgeni Plushenko actually - is a lot of things have to go right". I'm not at the top individually anymore, but this team made me see the positive in my skating and believe in myself. "I just skated with all my heart and just was in the moment completely", said Daleman.

The final results on Monday mirrored the tally from the qualifying rounds one day before: Canada took gold, followed by the Russians and the US team.

Canada's figure skaters really did.

Daleman's 137.14-point performance added eight points to Canada's cumulative score, bringing it up to 63.

Dozens dive into cold Deschutes for Bend's Polar Plunge
Over the years, the plunge has raised as much as $35,000, Scotts Bluff County Sheriff Mark Overman said. In addition to the polar plunge, there was a silent auction, costume contest and fundraising awards.

Five of the seven who took the ice - men's single skater Patrick Chan, ice dancers Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir and pairs skaters Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford - plan to retire at the end of the Games, all in their late 20s and early 30s.

"Of course, my character dies and that was the original ending we'd gone with, sort of faltering to this dramatic death", Virtue told the outlet.

It takes just a few seconds, but it was too long for comfort for some (despite much of the crowd erupting in standing applause). "I'm talking outside of figure skating and outside of the Olympics. It's quite a attractive thing". But on Day 3, the moment was all his on that Olympic ice.

"And I guess this is where it gets you".
