Pandora's box: Fresh sexual assault cases filed in court against Weinstein

The Los Angeles Police Department has reportedly filed three sexual assault cases involving embattled producer Harvey Weinstein with the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office.

The cases come after two cases involving accusations against Weinstein were referred by the Beverly Hills Police Department late a year ago.

"Three cases were presented to our office on February 1 by the Los Angeles Police Department regarding Mr. Weinstein and are under review", according to Greg Risling, spokesman for the District Attorney's Office.

Weinstein, who has been accused by dozens of women of sexual misconduct or assault, is also being investigated by police in NY and London.

Weinstein is also facing criminal investigations in NY and London.

Actresses Heather Graham, Eva Green, and Salma Hayek are among Weinstein's accusers.
