Apple investigating after man says AirPod exploded

Apple's AirPods may be at risk of exploding, if one Florida man's experiences are anything to go by.

In 2016, Samsung recalled the Galaxy Note 7 after some phones caught fire because of a defect in the batteries.

You look at Apple's wireless Bluetooth powered AirPods and you think that here is a benign device that could never cause a problem.

She told reporters that an independent investigation led by a judge would carried out to establish what caused the crash. Passengers said the driver was breaking the speed limit to make up for being behind schedule, according to Now News .

The tiny pieces of the AirPods fit into Jason Colon's hand. He wisely made a decision to remove both the buds and place them on some gym equipment before finding some help. When he returned, he was shocked."It was already like this". It was already popped.

With the AirPods, Apple has created a bold new kind of wireless headphone, removing the annoyances of struggling to pair and remembering to turn them off to avoid battery drain.

"I don't know what would've happened to my ear", says Colon. "You can see the flame damage".
