YouTube takes further action against Logan Paul, suspends all ads on channel

Early Friday morning, YouTube announced on Twitter it would "temporarily" cut Logan Paul off from video ad revenue.

"After careful consideration, we have made a decision to temporarily suspend ads on Logan Paul's YouTube channels", the video streaming site said. The video-sharing website stated that Paul tried to monetize off of the video.

According to YouTube, they believe that Paul's brand has become toxic to potential partners and his actions have made the YouTube creator's community vulnerable. More to the point, this is an action that the YouTuber fully knows is controversial due to the reactions of his peers within the video, whether those reactions are real or acted.

Following his return, Paul has uploaded videos featuring him tasering dead rats and encouraging fans, most of whom are minors, to take the Tide Pod challenge, a poisonous eating challenge that YouTube has taken a hard stance against.

"When one creator does something particularly blatant-like conducts a heinous prank where people are traumatized, promotes violence or hate toward a group, demonstrates cruelty, or sensationalizes the pain of others in an attempt to gain views or subscribers-it can cause lasting damage to the community, including viewers, creators and the outside world", writes Bardin.

About half way through, Paul is off the beach, addressing his audience from beside the swimming pool of his mansion in Encino, Calif., exclaiming, "New Year, new me, new haircut!" and promising, "I will never, ever, ever forget who I am at my core, and no one can make me think I am something otherwise".

Just weeks after his worldwide incident exploiting a suicide victim, Logan Paul is back at it again, this time abusing deceased animals as a form of entertainment. After a white supremacist murdered a protester in Charlottesville previous year, Twitter similarly sprung into action by banning left-wing weird Twitter personality Todd Hitler and verifying Jack Posobiec, a racist insane person. What interests me about this story is the statement YouTube gave Variety on the incident.

In response to Paul's recent activity on social media, YouTube has suspended him from the Google Preferred platform, which provides advertisers simple access to the most popular 5 percent of YouTubers.

While that has since been taken down, over 40,000 people retweeted the post. I'm not going anywhere.
