Norway's Olympic team accidentally ordered 15000 eggs in South Korea

Norway's Olympic team may need to read up on that after ordering 15,000 eggs when they meant to order 1,500.

"Absolutely unbelievable", says team chef Stale Johansen of the aftermath of the error, in which an order placed using Google Translate reportedly caused 15,000 eggs to be delivered to their kitchen by a South Korean grocer.

The chefs blamed a translation error, but it looks as if a typo might also be at fault.

The mistake resulted in them accidentally asking for 15,000 eggs instead of only 1,500.

Fortunately for the chefs, they were let off the hook and allowed to return their massive surplus, and the head of the Norwegian team said it's "not a big issue". "In the meantime we are hoping for 30 medals", Mr Ovrebo said.
