Barnaby Joyce Says His Marriage Breakdown Was One of His

The estranged wife of Australia's Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce says she and their four daughters are devastated by the news he's having a baby with a former staffer.

"Everybody is trying to second guess what is a deeply private matter and I'm not going to do that".

Vikki Campion is living with Barnaby Joyce in the NSW town of Armidale.

Vikki Campion had been sent from the office of former NSW Nationals Deputy Premier Troy Grant to work in the Deputy Prime Minister's New England campaign as a media adviser and had become well known to locals. "I'm not proud of it but that is, you know, in essence the humanity of who we are".
