John Wall to undergo knee surgery on Wednesday

Washington Wizards guard John Wall will undergo a knee procedure and miss the next six to eight weeks, according to multiple reports. Now the Wizards are merely a 27-22 outfit-good enough for the sixth seed in the East-that's suddenly bereft of the All-NBA talent who steered the franchise back to respectability in the first place. In his absence, the Wizards likely will split the lead guard's minutes between second-year player Tomas Satoransky and Tim Frazier, the Post reported, and lean on shooting guard Bradley Beal (23.9 ppg) for more offense. He will reportedly miss significant time.

Wall has actually not been his usual self this season.

The procedure will also force Wall to miss his fifth All-Star Game next month.

On Wednesday, Wall will undergo a knee scope to clean up the bothersome area while in Cleveland.
