National Football League star threatened to sexually assault officer's wife

For the second time in less than a year, New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson was arrested in Florida, and this time, cops say, he threatened to sexually assault the arresting officer's wife. According to the report, Anderson was driving 105 miles per hour in a 45 miles per hour zone. The officer wrote in the report that the vehicle was all over the road, ran two stop lights and refused to stop when he began to pursue the auto with lights and sirens on. The Jets acknowledged the arrest, but failed to publicly discipline Anderson.

Anderson was arrested at a Miami music festival last May on charges of resisting arrest and obstruction of justice. He caught a felony charge for that - resisting an officer with violence.

The trial date was originally set for December 26th, but it was recently pushed back to March 19th.

No, an Asteroid Is Not Going to Collide with Earth in February
A risky asteroid called 2017 VL2 soared past Earth at a dangerously close proximity, at just 73,000 miles from planet Earth. A car-sized asteroid hits Earth's atmosphere about once a year and burns up before reaching the surface.

The 24-year-old is coming off a very impressive season with the Jets, catching 63 passes for 941 yards and seven touchdowns.

A graduate of South Plantation High School, Anderson played college football at Temple before he was signed by the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2016.

Even at 5-11, the 2017 season was better than expected for Gang Green.

The Jets will most likely be encouraged to discipline Anderson by the NFL.

An NFL spokesman on Friday said the league will review Anderson's latest arrest. Jermaine Kearse and Anderson were both solid contributors in 2017, but neither guy is a star.

Several sources are reporting that NY Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson has been arrested in Florida. Quincy Enunwa will return from neck surgery in 2018, but it remains unclear if he'll be as productive as he was before his injury.
