7 more flu-related deaths reported in Dallas County

Health officials reported 23 deaths last week. Four pediatric influenza deaths, however, have been reported in the state.

More than 1,400 people were hospitalized.

The Collin County Health Department confirms Thursday five flu-related deaths have been reported in the county. Almost 80% of confirmed flu cases are Type A, H3N2, with Type A, H1N1 and Type B, taking 10 percent (each) of the total cases.
