One managed to get out, while the other one was trapped inside for more than an hour as authorities used a heavy piece of equipment to stabilize the vehicle, Horner said.

A vehicle remains lodged inside the second floor of a Santa Ana dentist office after the driver crashed into the building on January 14, 2018.

Two people were injured after a auto apparently went airborne and crashed into the second floor of a Santa Ana dental office Sunday morning, KTLA reports.

Santa Ana is located just southeast of Anaheim. The Santa Ana Police Department said the auto was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit the median and flew into the building, which houses a dental practice.

A big hole remains after the auto was removed from the building.

The car's occupants, who police said had minor injuries, were extricated from the vehicle by responders from the Orange County Fire Department.

Orange County firefighters, along with a Los Angeles County search and rescue team, removed the vehicle from the building.

According to eyewitness reports, a driver was traveling north on French Street in Santa Ana, California at 5:25 a.m. on Sunday morning when he hit a raised center median at a high speed.

It took a larger wrecker truck to remove the vehicle from the dental office.
