Stephen Miller Attacks CNN's 'Journalistic Standards' During Softball Fox News Interview

President Trump's senior policy adviser Stephen Miller was reportedly "escorted" out of the network's Washington headquarters after a fiery interview with anchor Jake Tapper.

In the predictable finale to Sunday's debacle, Miller sat down with Fox News' Tucker Carlson on Monday night to deny the most embarrassing element of the story - that he was escorted off set - and to continue trashing CNN. Miller, who first came into the spotlight defending facts during the Duke lacrosse scandal, began the interview, saying that the book contained incorrect information and misrepresented the president's intellect and competency.

"I get it: There's one viewer that you care about right now, and you're being obsequious and you're being a factotum in order to please him", Tapper responded.

China 2017 trade surplus with US tops $275bn to record high
Full-year shipments rose 5 percent to a record high of 1.075 billion tonnes, exceeding 1 billion tonnes for a second year. Imports for the whole of 2017 jumped 27 percent from 2016 to a record of 68.57 million tonnes.

Miller, in turn, scolded Tapper for making "condescending" and "snide" remarks and bashed CNN for airing "24 hours of negative, anti-Trump, hysterical coverage".

Tapper appeared to become flustered by Miller's defense of the president and his refusal to answer some questions. My question is, but they thought you were a threat.

Carlson then asked Miller about a video taken during a commercial break and made public by a CBS News producer. Miller initially brought up Trump's statement on Bannon's quotes in the book, in which he said that "Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency". "After refusing to leave, he was escorted out by security".

Paige Will Not Be Cleared to Return By WWE Officials
Paige was quickly examined by WWE medical personnel and a stretcher was brought out to carry her back to the locker room. Further testing has seen her advised she will not be cleared to return to the ring, according to the report.

While Trump had a decidedly different view of the segment, many Twitter users applauded Tapper's decision to pull the plug on Miller.

"I think I have wasted enough of my viewers' time", Tapper told Miller as he abruptly ended the aide's air-time.

Is China halting US Treasury purchases?
Markets took a turn south following a report suggesting the Chinese authorities now view U.S. government bonds as weak. Investors worry that if China purchases fewer Treasuries, the USA government will have to find alternative buyers.
