President Trump Addresses American Farm Bureau Federation

Trump finished with a phrase he said he'd heard all his life and considers to be very accurate: "Farm country is God's country".

Farm organizations have encouraged President Trump to look at the benefits of trade agreements with foreign nations, which have helped American farmers and ranchers to open new markets among foreign customers.

"It's always quite an honor to get the President but of course there is a lot of inconvenience that goes along with that, and I know that security probably 10-fold since then".

Trump's opening remarks focused on praising the roles farmers have played in USA history, saying they founded the country and won its independence.

The president's attendance at the event in itself was enough to draw praise.

Feliz has pitched in 98 games over the course of the past three seasons for the Astros and has accumulated a 5.13 ERA. Even with those lackluster stats last season, Cole is the kind of pitcher the Astros can afford to take a chance on.

In an address that took on the feel of one of his campaign rallies, President Donald Trump touted his record in his first year in office and told farmers gathered in Nashville that they're "lucky" he was willing to run for the White House and keep out Democrats.

Trump became the first president in a quarter-century to address the American Farm Bureau Federation's convention.

The President also spoke on the progress of the 2018 Farm Bill, NAFTA negotiations, and addressing the infrastructure needs of rural communities before finishing his address to the crowd.

"I was pleased he acknowledged the importance of exports and that he is working to renegotiate a better NAFTA". "To level the playing field for all of our farmers and ranchers as well as our manufacturers we are reviewing all of our trade agreements", he said.

Trump said people would now be "spared" from the estate tax, which he called the "death tax", drawing applause from the crowd at the American Farm Bureau Federation's convention. She also owns a farm with her husband, where they raise beef cattle in Loudon County. Granted, that is just a guess but I feel safe in saying that if someone were to be able to fact-check it!

The Warriors are going for a season series sweep after beating Toronto 117-112 in Oakland in October. Warriors F Kevon Looney had nine points and eight rebounds in 23 minutes playing in his hometown.

"And I'm looking forward to working with Congress to pass the farm bill, on time, so that it delivers for all of you".

Then, flanked by Tennessee lawmakers and Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue, Mr. Trump signed two executive orders created to increase the reach of broadband into rural areas and to support broadband tower facilities in rural America.

"The American economy and the American workers as a whole to a new height to economic prosperity", Burrell said.

The second loudest was reserved for the president's comments about standing up for the national anthem and the American flag. The White House described the move, along with a memorandum directing the Interior Department to work on a plan to increase access to their facilities for broadband deployment, as "incremental", but the start of an effort to make progress on the issue.

He continued, "Some of what is being said about me is untrue or mischaracterized, but there is enough truth in these stories to make me feel embarrassed and ashamed".
