Israeli forces injure 40 Palestinians in West Bank

On January 11, Israel's Peace Now (Shalom Achshav) movement said that the Civil Administration Higher Planning Committee, the military body that enforces Israeli policy in the West Bank, had approved plans for construction of 1,122 apartments and houses in 20 settlements and published bids for 651 housing units in the West Bank.

The release noted that many other cases received treatment on site.

The demonstrators slammed also the US President Donald Trump's move last month to recognize (al-Quds) Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

New CCTV footage emerged to help solve Zainab murder case
It is the 12th such murder in the town of Kasur in a year, and has raised concerns that a serial killer may be on the loose. Kasur made worldwide headlines in 2015 when a gang of paedophiles running a child sex ring was busted, Dawn reported.

Today the clashes extended to a host of new Palestinian villages and towns.

The US ambassador to Israel David Friedman earlier this week blamed Palestinian authorities for the failure of peace efforts, after an Israeli settler was killed in occupied West Bank. More than a hundred Palestinians were treated for smoke and gas inhalation after the Israeli soldiers deployed tear gas and smoke grenades.

Another 16-year-old, Amir Abd Abu Musaid, was killed in a border area in Gaza when Israeli troops opened fire on stone-throwing protesters.
