Home & Away star Jessica's Falkholt's life support turned off

Home and Away star Jessica Falkholt has had her life support switched off and remains in a critical condition following the horrific auto accident that killed her parents Lars and Vivian Falkholt, and her sister Annabelle.

Her parents Lars, 69 and Vivian, 60, died at the scene while Annabelle was flown to hospital in a critical condition before dying from her injuries on 29 December.

The driver of the other vehicle, 50-year-old Craig Whitall, also died at the scene after both cars were engulfed in flames.

Whitall was reportedly driving home from a methadone clinic in the New South Wales town of Nowra when the crash took place.

Jessica's mother, father and sister were all killed in the crash and were farewelled at a joint funeral service in Sydney on Wednesday.

States can force 'able-bodied' to work for Medicaid, rules Trump administration
The vast majority of those who aren't working have an illness or disability, are caring for a family member, or are in school. The Obama administration opposed the demands by the states.

Vivian and Lars were instantly killed in the crash, while the sisters' bodies were pulled from the flaming wreckage of the auto by bystanders. Ultimately, Jessica remained in the coma until her life support was removed.

A family friend said, "They were a very close family and had been on a quiet getaway", according to The Telegraph as reported by Sydney Morning Herald.

A message on the show's official Twitter feed said: "Rest in peace, attractive Jessica".

Actress Jessica Falkholt has had her life support switched off following an accident at Sussex Inlet that killed the rest of her family.

Jessica and Annabelle were pulled from the wreckage by motorists who stopped to help. Annabelle, 21, passed away three days after the accident.

Vivian's younger brother Paul Ponticello thanked the members of the public who ran to help pull the sisters out from the auto.

Paul said he always imagined he and his sister Vivian would grow old together. The Daily Telegraph reports that Whitall had many previous driving infractions, including a nine-year ban and had at least 10 convictions for driving without a licence.

The fatal crash took place on the Princes Highway on Boxing Day when the Falkholts were travelling home to the suburb of Ryde after attending Christmas celebrations.

The 29 year old Home and Away star found fame as Hope Morrison in the long-running soap that has created the opportunity for her to be a part of her first feature film, a supernatural thriller, Harmony.
