Dark Souls Remastered announced for Nintendo Switch, coming this May

A Dark Souls remaster for the Nintendo Switch has been rumoured for a while, but a report earlier today revealed it's actually in development for PC, PS4, Xbox One as well as Switch. If you're on a PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, or a PC powerful enough to run 4K, you can die at 60 FPS in an upscaled 4K resolution.

Why all the resolution talk?

Which brings me to this: What I know for sure is that speaking your truth is the most powerful tool we all have. That alone would provide a huge incentive to attend one of her presidential campaign rally.

Namco Bandai's announcement makes no mention of whether or not we can expect the other games in the Dark Souls series to launch on the Switch. Dark Souls: Remastered represents the first time a Dark Souls game has appeared on a Nintendo console. Along with the visual enhancements, the game will include the DLC from the first game, 'Artorias of the Abyss'.

As a long-time Dark Souls player, I'd say that Dark Souls is so much more than the above quote provided by Bandai Namco.

Fieldbrook Foods Corporation has issued a voluntary recall of some of their ice cream products over Listeria concerns. Healthy individuals may suffer symptoms such as fever, headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea.

Dark Souls Remastered is being developed by original developer From Software, which is good to hear seeing as some remasters end up getting outsourced to a new studio. The Dark Souls series has always been a favorite of mine, and at this point its cultural and design impact on the industry are well known.

The Switch has slowly but surely been adding more mature content to its lineup, with games like Skyrim fleshing out the system's library and beefing up its selection of more hardcore offerings. Excited to play Dark Souls again? The Switch is not going to turn into a dumping ground for games that came out on the Xbox 360 or Wii U four or five years ago.
