Man Hits Harvey Weinstein in the Face in Arizona Restaurant

Infamous movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, accused by numerous women of sexual misconduct, was "attacked" while leaving a Paradise Valley restaurant Tuesday night, TMZ reported Wednesday.

A man told TMZ that he approached Weinstein, who was seated at an adjacent table, and asked to take a picture with him. "You're a piece of sh*t, get the f*ck out of here, you're a piece of sh*t", he then tells Weinstein as he walks away. TMZ reports that a fellow diner, identified as "Steve", nearby asked for a photo and complimented Weinstein, and the disgraced mogul declined. A TMZ video released Wednesday shows the man, whose name is reportedly Steve, slapping Weinstein twice.

Weinstein's representative Sallie Hofmeister told The Arizona Republic in an email that TMZ's report was accurate and had no further comment.

District Judge denied that request in October, but Arpaio's lawyers have filed an appeal to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Arpaio, in his email to supporters, said he would defend gun owners, oppose abortion and work to reduce the national debt.

The manager also reportedly claims that Weinstein was polite about originally declining to take a picture with the man.

Weinstein declined to press charges and left the restaurant quietly.

The Republic contacted Sanctuary on Wednesday morning after the video was posted. Mr. Weinstein has further confirmed that there were never any acts of retaliation against any women for refusing his advances.

It seems that one man has had enough of Harvey Weinstein. According to Cole, if Weinstein were to file a complaint, the police would investigate the case as a misdemeanor assault.

Weinstein has been living in Arizona at a rehab facility following accusations from almost 100 women that he sexually harassed/assaulted them.

Weinstein is now under investigation by New York, Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and London authorities.
