Say hello to Project Linda, a prototype created to turn the Razer Phone into a full-fledged Android notebook.

If you had Razer's Project Linda, you wouldn't need to install an emulator on your laptop to play Clash of Clans on a bigger display or sync your files across devices. Now Razer did mention that if you put the Phone in backwards and try to dock it, Project Linda will still push out the USB-C port. The phone acts as the 3-pound computer's brain, which is fine because it has a fast Snapdragon 835 processor and 8GB of RAM inside.

The Razer Phone, created by a lifestyle brand for gamers, comes with an HDR10-enabled display as well as front-facing dual Dolby-optimized speakers, and if you prefer to use headphones with it, it also supports THX connectivity.

"Project Linda combines the best of both worlds, bringing a larger screen and physical keyboard to the Android environment, enhancing the experience for gaming and productivity". Although it's true that the four Project Lindas Razer had on hand in its suite this year are indeed prototypes, they were all functioning, at least to an extent.

The rest of the device is fairly typical for a Razer notebook: 13.3-inch QHD touchscreen, individually RGB-backlit Chroma keyboard (with some dedicated keys for easier Android operation), and an aluminum chassis.

Project Linda features a built-in power bank that quickly charges the Razer Phone while docked.

The phone is backed by 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD. The new Nokia 6 hasn't ditched the 3.5mm headphone jack yet, but offered an alternative - the Bluetooth 5.0 radio.

Inside the laptop is 200 GB of storage, allowing for offline backups and additional local media and app storage. Pressing a button on Project Linda's keyboard prompts a USB-C connector to pop out of the touchpad-shaped cutout in the laptop's base, which connects the phone to the system.

Razer won official "Best of CES" awards an unprecedented seven years in a row, including innovations such as the Razer Switchblade (2012), the Razer Edge tablet (2013), Project Christine (2015), and the Razer Blade Stealth and Core (2016).

For example, you'd be able to power through your Gmail or Google Docs duties much more quickly on Project Linda than you would on just your phone, thanks to the relevant Android apps. The company's rookie Razer Phone is not only getting HDR compatibility for the world's most popular video streaming service, also marking a first for Netflix.

The processor will power the mainstream devices which are now using the company's mobile core chipsets. The GL line will see processor with a TDP of 65W, while the GH line will have a TDP of 100W.

When docked, the interface switches to a more traditional laptop-style one, complete with a taskbar. The company isn't slowing down as it has unveiled another piece of awesome hardware. Razer is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 1337).
