Upcoming Battle Royale Mode "Battlegrounds" Revealed for Paladins

Upcoming Battle Royale Mode

Hi-Rez Studios has just announced a game called Paladins: Battlegrounds, and if you're a fan of either Overwatch or PUBG, you're going to want to pay attention.

Every developer will be wanting a slice of the battle royale audience in 2018 and Hi-Rez is first out the blocks after finding a way to make a team-based shooter into a battle royale game.

Brighton held at home by Bournemouth after silly Callum Wilson goal
The Cherries conceded both times in the opening five minutes of each half, starting poorly and magnifying the task ahead of them considerably from the first whistle.

In this Battlegrounds mode players find themselves among 99 other players within one giant map that'll gradually become smaller due to a mysterious fog, which swallows everything that gets in its way. Getting in early would definitely work in Hi-Rez' favor, especially since both SMITE and Paladins are free-to-play experiences.

Other than the class abilities and mounts (neither of which appear in PUBG), Paladins appears to be the latest game to be tempted by the growing genre. Now, developer Hi-Rez wants the game to challenge the current most played game on the internet: PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds. All of these updates will be available for PC on January 11th and for consoles on January 18th. This will be the first of a string of updates headlined by another new game mode: Team Deathmatch. Players will be able to throw the usual objective-focused gameplay of modes like Siege, Payload and Onslaught out of the way in a mode where taking out the enemy team is the only thing that matters.

He stayed with the Packers until 2000, when he left to join former Packers coach Mike Holmgren with the Seahawks. Schneider is a Wisconsin native and has previously worked in the Packers organization on two other occasions.

Besides the announcement of new game modes to Paladins, you can also expect a new hero to be added to the game. The magician "rides a summoned two-headed dragon into battle, feeding it snacks to reload its magical energy". A new, cinematic trailer has been released to start off the year.

Facing the reality of having to start over in a new system with a new head coach may have helped pave the way for this decision. He led the Cardinals to the NFC Championship Game in 2015 before they fell to the Carolina Panthers.
