GUNSHOTS can be heard ringing out across Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport in chilling video of the moment armed cops shot a knifeman threatening to stab holidaymakers.

Tom Boelen, general manager of the next door restaurant Per Tutti, said he was told by his staff that there was a shooting happening.
