Hannibal Buress Arrested After Confrontation With Police

The comedian, Hannibal Buress, found himself in an unfortunate predicament over the weekend after police arrested him in Miami, Florida.

The comedian was booked into Miami-Dade jail at 1.57am on Sunday and posted bail of $500 shortly before 6am, court records show.

Throughout the rest of the video, Buress continues to challenge the officers, demanding that they explain their "probable cause" for detaining him and later refusing to get inside the police vehicle.

Hello Billy, Mr. Buress was arrested for disorderly intoxication, on December 9, 2017, at approximately 10:30 p.m. Additionally, the actor refused to enter the police vehicle on his own volition, so the officials had to force him inside.

Buress was asked to leave five times before being arrested, according to the report.

Buress can also be seen telling the police "you know you look goofy as f-k right now". Instead, he was hit with a misdemeanor charge of disorderly intoxication.

The hashtag #freeHannibalBuress started trending on Twitter after the arrest.

The officers advise him that they suspect him of trespassing, although no trespassing charge was later filed against him.

Buress then says to the officer, "Take the handcuffs off of me".

After being told by the officer that he couldn't call an Uber, Buress became angry and belligerent. This year he was featured in the films "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Baywatch".
