Cubs Nearing Contract With Top-End Reliever, Reports Say

The Chicago Cubs reportedly agreed to a free-agent deal with relief pitcher Brandon Morrow on Saturday worth between $10 million and $11 million per season, according to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports.

If Morrow can match the level of effectiveness he had as a Dodger, there's no doubt he'll be a solid closer for the Cubs. The Cubs are still after more arms as the winter meetings begin.

Sir Daniel is returning to PlayStation 4 with MediEvil in 2018
There will be further panels streamed on the official PlayStation Experience 2017 website ; you can check the schedule there. According to Sony it's meant merely as a "gift" to PlayStation VR owners, and no longer version is now planned.

Chicago's bullpen featured current free-agents Wade Davis, Brian Duensing, Koji Uehara, and Hector Rondon. Morrow will join Tyler Chatwood as new additions to the Cubs bullpen as Chicago recently signed Chatwood to a three-year deal. In the regular season, he had 35 appearances with a 2.06 ERA and a ideal 6-0 record with 50 strikeouts in 43 2/3 innings.

The Cubs have looked at Morrow for more than a year as their possible future closer as he worked back from shoulder surgery with the Padres - before the right-hander's price soared when he had a breakout season for the Dodgers as a setup man after signing a minor-league deal in January.

The trailer includes more scenes from the OASIS , an epic soundtrack, and more insight into Wade's life. The victor is to be granted full ownership of the OASIS and Halliday's $240 billion fortune.

During the playoffs, Morrow was the ironman for the Dodgers as he appeared in 14 of their 15 playoffs games. Injuries hampered his effectiveness as a starter, as he pitched in just 28 games combined from 2013 to 2015.

With a bitter taste in their mouths from their NLCS loss to Los Angeles, the Cubs effectively stole the Dodgers' most efficent middle-reliever and improved their bullpen mightily with Morrow (1.96 ERA over the past two seasons).
