Firefighters left 'seriously unimpressed' after man cements head inside microwave

A man who had his head cemented inside a microwave by his friends had to be rescued by firefighters after the prank almost went wrong.

A man required assistance from his local fire brigade Thursday after purposely cementing a microwave to his head for a YouTube prank.

Pictured: a very good prank.

After an hour or so of scrapping out the Polyfilla (think Selley's no-gap cement) with a screwdriver, whilst trying not to gouge old mate in the face, the microwave was finally wedged off.

"As amusing as this sounds, this young man could quite easily have suffocated or have been seriously injured", Watch Commander Shuan Dakin, officer in charge of the crew who responded, told Sky News.

The Wolverhampton-based YouTube prankster wrapped his head in a plastic bag and then put his head inside the microwave oven.

His friends spent 90 minutes unsuccessfully attempting to free the man before having to call the fire department, who, after an hour, was able to free Swingler without causing him any injury.

We're seriously unimpressed. Five of our firefighters were tied up for an hour this afternoon, freeing a YouTube.

"This was clearly a call-out which might have prevented us from helping someone else in genuine, accidental need", he said.

The man was left shaken, but unharmed, after his rescue.
