Philadelphia 76ers trade Jahlil Okafor to Nets

Philadelphia 76ers trade Jahlil Okafor to Nets

The news was initially reported by Zach Lowe of ESPN. He averaged 17.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game as a rookie, and the rebuilding Nets are clearly ready to take a risk on the 6-11 center. Shams Charania of The Vertical confirmed the deal, and included that the Sixers will get veteran big man Trevor Booker back in return.

Okafor played just two games for the Sixers this season.

Weinstein's escalating sleaziness did not come out during the campaign. "They were 100% a surprise to me", Jones wrote. Representatives for Dunham didn't immediately respond to requests for comment Wednesday.

In addition to the swapped players and the Knicks draft pick, the Nets will release guard Sean Kilpatrick to create a roster spot for Okafor as they settle their lineups for the season.

In 2017-18, Kilpatrick has accounted for 4.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.9 assists a game in 183 minutes and 16 games in this his fourth National Basketball Association season.

State Health Minister Satyendar Jain tweeted last week that he has ordered an inquiry "into this unacceptable act". As per the report, no ECG tracings have been done to trace whether the child was alive or not.

At minimum, starting or coming off the bench, Okafor should play a fair amount for the Nets.

Sharp-shooter Nik Stauskas, on the other hand, had lost his minutes because of J.J. Redick, who signed as a free-agent this past offseason and started the season at the shooting guard position. Guards T.J. McConnell, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, and Jerryd Bayless were the main options 76ers' head coach Brett Brown chose to go with. Noel was visably upset at the center logjam that caused him to only play 8 minutes in one game.

The 76ers are now fifth in the Eastern Conference standings, while the Nets are hovering outside playoff contention.
