Lawrence told Oprah Winfrey, for The Hollywood Reporter, she chose the role because of the "chemistry" she had with it and said it was "like meeting a boyfriend".

"I've been probably more insecure after a year ago, and I don't know if that's just a feeling of: I've got more to lose, I have more people to disappoint".

Weinstein has been accused by numerous women of sexual abuse, ranging from leveraging his position as the head of The Weinstein Company to hit on actresses to sexual assault.

"And then when I said yes to 'Red Sparrow, ' I felt I was taking something back", Lawrence said of her upcoming spy movie. I was just like, 'I can't, ' after hearing that.

"Oh, my God, I've been waiting for this moment", the "Hunger Games" star tells Oprah Winfrey in an interview published Wednesday in The Hollywood Reporter, when asked if she would want to meet the commander in chief. So I needed a moment to process everything because I thought I knew this guy, and then he's being accused of rape.

"I've got a pretty good speech", Lawrence said, adding with a laugh that "it ends with a martini to the face".

"And that's why it's so important to talk about abuse, all of the different forms of abuse, because he didn't lay a finger on her, and I felt chilled to my bones".

"It was abusive. I mean, it wasn't sexually abusive ..." she clarified.

Jennifer Lawrence, who won an Oscar for the Harvey Weinstein-produced "Silver Linings Playbook", initially said she was "deeply disturbed" to hear of the allegations against the Hollywood tycoon. Everybody agreed that I was fat. "But I was abused by a woman on a movie ..."

Steinhoff's biggest shareholder and chairman, the billionaire Christo Wiese, has taken over as executive chairman temporarily. It is not clear if these are the accounting irregularities Steinhoff is referring to in its latest statement.

A non-Twitter user, Lawrence claimed, "I didn't know that's what I was doing". I've been probably more insecure after previous year, and I don't know if that's just a feeling of: I've got more to lose, I have more people to disappoint. I'm sad by the women's stories, but I'm excited by the change that's going to come from it. "We have to all put our heads together and figure out how to not let this moment go".
