Amazon Prime Video begins rolling out to the tvOS app store

The Apple TV platform now supports Amazon Prime Video, thanks to a just-launched app. After many months and questions on whether Apple would keep its promise, Prime Video has finally arrived on Apple TV and can be downloaded via the App Store in tvOS.

To date, Amazon's video service has not been available on Apple TV, unlike other popular third-party services such as Netflix and Hulu. Google isn't happy that Amazon isn't listing Nest (a Google/Alphabet owned company) devices on its USA storefront, and had earlier dropped access for Amazon's Echo Show platform before announcing this week that it would remove access for Fire TV owners as well.

This is good news for Amazon and Apple customers who have had to forego a less than friendly relationship between the two companies. Users will be able to find content on Amazon Video simply by speaking or typing their queries into the Apple TV's robust search feature.

Rep. Cummings: Flynn Whistleblower a 'Very Credible' Witness
Neither Gowdy nor Flynn's attorney, Robert Kelner, responded immediately to a request for comment. Flynn's lawyer did not respond to a request for comment on the latest claims.

Prime members in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Austria and Japan can use the app to watch videos purchased or rented from Amazon.

Most notable, the Rocky movies are coming to Prime. The integration, first announced by Apple CEO Tim Cook at the company's Worldwide Developer Conference in June, ends a long dispute between the two tech giants.

The app is not yet available for us, but it should be out soon as the update for the iPhone and iPad has already gone live.

Vols name Pruitt new Head Coach
Pruitt spent two seasons as Georgia's defensive coordinator from 2014 to 2015 before returning to Tuscaloosa for the 2016 season. He left to become Florida State's defensive coordinator in 2013 and won a title in his one year with the Seminoles.

And, after Amazon's refusal to sell a number of Google device that could rival its own - including Google's Chromecast and the Home speaker - Google has retaliated by pulling YouTube from Amazon's devices.

Amazon still has streaming battles to fight, however, with Google announcing this week that it will pull YouTube support from Amazon's Fire TV platform entirely from 1 January 2018.
