PayPal reveals payment company it acquired earlier this year was hacked

According to Duke Energy officials, a vendor who owns one of the networks the company uses to process payments at walk-in locations said last Friday that it identified a potential compromise of personal information affecting about 1.6 million customers, including 374,000 from Duke Energy.
