The parents of a 13-year-old California girl who reportedly took her own life say they're now being harassed by their child's bullies.

"For you to do that, I mean, you're heartless", said Rosalie's mother, Charlene Avila.

"That's my daughter... it's so heartless, so mean to do that and it's not amusing, it's not amusing to see that image of your daughter and to be mocked like she's crap and she's not". "Sorry, Mom, you're gonna find me like this". "On the inside, it was just tearing her to pieces that they were always making fun of her". After being called "ugly" among constant other put-downs, Rosalie couldn't take it any longer, and hanged herself in her bedroom on November 28. "'Sorry, Mom and Dad".

'I go, "You have braces, honey, don't worry".

They knew she was being bullied at school and on social media by classmates. who taunted her for her braces and called her ugly.

"I did everything I'm supposed to do as a father, and these people did not respond, because those bullies are still at the school", Freddie Avila said.

Now faced with the heartbreaking task of laying their daughter to rest, they are begging other parents to pay close attention to what their children are going through. They plan to donate her organs.

The family has set up a memorial GoFundMe page to help with costs of Rosalie's burial.

The parents have handed over Avila's journal over to the police, according to CBS Los Angeles. He said she's been bullied for years and the district isn't doing enough to keep her safe.

Rosalie's parents said the school district failed to adequately address the bullying.

"She was a attractive person inside and out", her mother wrote on the GoFundMe page.

"My daughter had the whole world", her father, Freddie Avila told NBC while choking back tears. She was a great artist, very lovable & loving. She's very smart and always had good grades. Rosalie had a great personality and was very amusing.
