Google to issue warnings when apps steal your personal data

Apps that handle user or device data will soon have to provide their own privacy policies. Further, if the apps save information that is not necessary they are needed to explain users how the data is going to be used. This includes putting the complete text of the privacy policy in the app itself.

Once the user has installed the app on their Android device, the app will need to prompt a privacy policy that explicitly mentions what kind of data it procures from the user.
