Margot Robbie Is Working on a New 'Harley Quinn' Movie

Robbie confirmed to MTV that she's been working on the spinoff for two years.

Earlier this year, Robbie mentioned she was ready to reprise her role as Harley Quinn, but wasn't sure which iteration of the character we'd see next.

Margot Robbie, a woman with roughly 6,000 different Harley Quinn projects on the go, is now in contention for Oscar gold thanks to her performance as another complicated American pop culture figure.

Suicide Squad director David Ayer remains tentatively attached to helm this all-Gotham bad girl team up, which would presumably co-star Catwoman and Poison Ivy, with the Joker also expected to appear.

Georgia LB Patrick facing undisclosed misdemeanor charge
For Patrick, a starter on Georgia's defense, this is his third marijuana-related arrest since arriving to Georgia. Patrick was a passenger during a traffic stop, according to Barrow County Sheriff's spokesperson Ryan Sears.

Robbie's personal vision for Harley's next step is one that could fit either a solo movie or Gotham City Sirens, as it turns out.

Alright DCEU and Warner Bros., we need to have a little talk here. And I think that's a wonderful thing. Robbie not only stars in the figure skating saga I, Tonya, but the motion picture serves as the actress's first proper film producing credit.

"Yeah, I've been working on it for two years now", Robbie replied. You see it in the comics. This was something that Robbie had pitched herself after considerable comic book research during Suicide Squad's production.

Margot revealed that her take on the story will give Harley the "girl gang" she needs.

"Honestly, I don't think anyone knows what's going to be the next thing to happen, but I think everyone is keen to getting Harley back on screen so everyone is working on lots of different versions of what could be next". Written and directed by Gavin O'Connor, Suicide Squad 2 is now slated for a 2019 opening.

Suicide Squad 2 is planning to film in 2018, so this is the most likely bet for fans aching to see Harley again.

However, Robbie's vague statements could also mean that she's speaking of one of the Harley projects that have already been reported, particularly Gotham City Sirens, which she is executive producing. "I think that's what a producer should do", she adds.

Russian Federation calls U.S. threat to destroy North Korea a 'bloodthirsty tirade'
The North Koreans want recognition above all else. "We have repeatedly stated that the pressure of sanctions has been exhausted". US officials had initially said that the exercises would be delayed until spring in order to allow for the tensions to ease.
