National Basketball Association fines Pelicans' Anthony Davis $25K for altercation with official

Davis received his second technical foul of the game and was subsequently ejected with 4:11 remaining in the second quarter of the Pelicans' 120-102 loss to Minnesota in New Orleans.

It's the second game Davis has been forced to leave early this season due to injury, joining an October 24 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Trainers came over to look at Davis immediately, and the amount of pain he was in was readily apparent.

The White House started telling people in September that Tillerson would be replaced, said a senior administration official. While, Trump, in turn, challenged the Secretary of State for an IQ test in an attempt to prove that he was not indeed one.


The Pelicans initially said Davis had left groin injury but have updated the injury report to indicate it is a "left pelvis" issue.

There were no further details on Davis' injury.

New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis was fined $25,000 for the verbal abuse of a referee that saw him ejected from a game against Minnesota, the National Basketball Association said Friday.

Anthony Davis left Friday's game with a groin injury to his left leg and is not expected to return, the New Orleans Pelicans announced.

Pelicans management have not issued a statement on the fine.

It will be the second game Davis has missed this season.
