Kotla Test, Day 1: Kohli, Vijay ton put India in commanding position

India won the toss and chose to bat first without any hesitation on a Feroz Shah Kotla pitch that had decent grass on it.

The third session started with celebration as Kohli completed his 20th Test ton and after surviving an LBW review from Sri Lanka, he brought the 200 run partnership with Vijay. He also got stumped in a very similar manner to the same bowler to whom Vijay gave his wicket a few balls earlier.

Wynn Resorts Ltd. (WYNN), Buffalo Wild Wings Inc. (BWLD)
Jennison Associates Llc decreased Servicenow Inc (NYSE:NOW) stake by 82,241 shares to 1.18M valued at $124.63 million in 2017Q2. November's rally was powered by rumors of an impeding acquisition that were then confirmed by the company later in the month.

However, the visitors ended the day with a flourish, taking two wickets - those of Vijay and vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane.

India won the toss for the first time in the series, and Kohli opted to bat first. Kohli responded to the cheers by cracking a brilliant boundary off only the third delivery even as Vijay joined the party with his trademark drives.

Infosys brings in new head from Capgemini as revenue flags
The Euro 12.5-billion ($14.9 billion) Capgemini is a 50-year-old firm with about 200,000 employees in 40 countries the world over. Infosys chairman Nandan Nilekani said the board was delighted to have Parekh joining the organisation.

India still looks to be in commanding position despite losing two quick wickets by the end of the day's play, as Kohli and Rohit are batting at the crease and India's tail end, having potential batsmen like Wriddhiman Saha, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, is capable of scoring big runs at any stage of a match.

Lakshan Sandakan (2-110) was the most suffered Sri Lankan bowler as the duo plundered him for 70 runs in the first 13 overs while the other bowlers too hardly troubled the Indian pair. He completed 5,000 runs in 98 innings. Kohli, who reached the milestone with a backfoot punch off Suranga Lakmal, became the 11th Indian batsman to reach the figures and is now the fourth fastest in terms of innings.

The White House started telling people in September that Tillerson would be replaced, said a senior administration official. While, Trump, in turn, challenged the Secretary of State for an IQ test in an attempt to prove that he was not indeed one.

He is also the second youngest to reach the 5,000-run mark among Indian bastmen at 29 years and 27 days. Kohli earlier in the series scored unbeaten 104 in Kolkata during the first Test and then bettered it with 213 in Nagpur in the second Test.
