Google just launched Datally, an app to save your data

Google has a new app called Datally for devices with at least Android 5.0.

Tests of the app in the Philippines had shown that Datally could help save users up to 30 per cent on their data, Google said.

Upon launching the application, Datally displays the amount of mobile data used today.

Google wants to help you conserve your data. Even though prices of monthly data plans have significantly come down in recent months, a lot of users still find it hard to determine how much their actual data consumption is and which could be the best data plan for them.

The Datally application has four key features such as the Data Saver, Data Server Bubble, Personalized Alerts and Wi-fi Finder. You can also block data with one tap if an app's data usage gets out of control.
