Aaron Jones Arrested in October on Multiple Charges, Admitted Smoking Marijuana

According to the report, Jones was pulled over on Highway 172 at around noon after by a state trooper who said he was driving 79 mph in a 55 mile-per-hour zone.

When the state trooper approached Jones on the driver's side, he noted the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The 22-year-old has pleaded not guilty to counts of speeding, driving without a valid license and operating a vehicle with a controlled substance in his system, according to Wisconsin court records. The report says Jones admitted smoking marijuana after breakfast that day. There were no drugs or drug paraphernalia located in his vehicle.

Another trooper arrived on the scene, and Jones was given a sobriety test. One clue was assessed when Jones used his arms for balance on his second step during his nine steps back, per Larson.

"I spoke to Aaron after the incident", McCarthy said. He was arrested February 10, 2016, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated while he was a student-athlete at the University of Texas at El Paso. "He made a mistake".
