Fear the Walking Dead season 4 will welcome Garret Dillahunt in an as-yet undisclosed role after the series brought season 3 to an explosive end that left the fates of several main characters up in the air. Elfman's casting follows the news that Walking Dead super fan Garrett Dillahunt has joined the cast of season four as well.

Details on Elfman's character are under wraps, but the Golden Globe victor will star alongside another newcomer, Garret Dillahunt, whose casting was announced yesterday. In addition to co-creator Dave Erickson exiting as showrunner, season 3 featured the deaths of Travis (Cliff Curtis) and Ofelia (Mercedes Mason), both of whom had been with the show since the beginning.

Now, the AMC spinoff of The Walking Dead is adding Jenna Elfman as a series regular for the upcoming fourth season. That's lead many to believe that Michael Cudlitz may reprise his role as Abraham on Fear the Walking Dead, as he would still be living in Texas with his wife and children during that show's timeline. Season three ended with the fate of almost everyone on the show - save for star Kim Dickens' Madison - up in the air after a big explosion.
