Classic gaming fans may remember Rampage as the arcade video games series where you took control of one of a handful of monstrous creatures and unleashed havoc until unsuspecting cities, demolishing buildings and crushing people with reckless abandon. The plot of the film revolves around The Rock's character, a primatologist who has deep connections to the animals he cares for, as he seeks to protect these animals when they become beasts by an accidental genetic experiment. If they like you, they lick you. In other words, it promises all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a The Rock movie.
