Apple Releases iOS 11.1.2 Software Update

Apple just released a new iOS update, and it's aimed at squashing some bugs specific to the iPhone X. True to its promise, Apple has now released an update that fixes the iPhone X screen issue that some users reported. The latest update, version 8.4.28, allows the music streaming app to take full advantage of the 5.8-inch display, making it look quite good, but otherwise there isn't any added functionality. The Outlook update now fills the entire screen on iPhone X giving itself a vertical space and removing the black bars which were to be seen below and above the app before this update. While the update doesn't bring any major changes, it fixes the cold weather input bug on the iPhone X. So after receiving the latest update, the smartphone is not expected to become unresponsive to touch even after a rapid temperature drop. This update primarily focuses on fixing problems associated with the iPhone X.

Apple acknowledged the issue and promised a fix via a future software update.

iOS 11.1.2 is now available for download. To Microsoft's credit, the company has started updating most of its apps to include iPhone X support - apps like Microsoft To-Do, OneDrive, OneNote, and other Office apps already support the iPhone X. The company is now testing this feature in the iOS 11.2 Beta.
